

TCG Consulting, Inc.'s founder and President, Shawn Cooper, has more than 20 years of practical integrated marketing communications and market research experience. Shawn's diverse professional experiences, coupled with a solid academic foundation, differentiate TCG from other firms. A former Captain in the Marine Corps, Shawn began her career as a Public Affairs Officer. Serving as a diplomat in the American Embassy in Mexico City, DF, she honed the discipline of integrated marketing communications by developing and implementing strategic marketing, communications, public relations and community outreach plans to promote US initiatives throughout the Country. In addition, Shawn worked as a trader, on Wall Street, for JPMorgan; the Vice President of Marketing Communications for Jackson Securities; a Principal of a Market Research Consulting firm; and the Director of Marketing, Customer Communications and Sales for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) – the country's 9th largest public transportation system. Shawn received a M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in Communications from the University of Southern California. She is fluent in Spanish and is certified as a focus group moderator by the RIVA Institute.
